Handmade, physical blemishes will not affect functionality. Keep oiled when not in use.
Depending on temperature of oil and batter recipe, you might need more than one mould to do mould rotation. In this case, we suggest you get one 5.5cm rosette mould to use for rotation.
Heat up 5in1 mould and single mould in hot oil. When thoroughly heated, dip 5in1 mould in batter up to 4/5 of mould height (not up to top). Hold mould in hot oil, not letting the mould touch the base of wok/pan. When rosette cookies are released, let the 5in1 mould rest in hot oil. Take the single 5.5cm mould and dip in batter. When cookie is released from mould, let the single mould rest in hot oil. Repeat rotation alternating between 5in1 mould and single mould until batter is used up.
